Review: Girl In the Red Coat
I loved this book.
It's funny, because reading for me can be difficult at times at the moment. But I just loved how visually easy this was to read. I was able to see everything so vividly. I don't think I was ever pulled out of the story once, which is very uncommon for me with my concentration problems.
The story is complex and beautiful. And even though I guessed the ending quite early on, I can't name another story that does this format quite so successfully.
A book from the POV of an eight year old that I never once found tedious. And found strangely relatable at times.
